Co-sponsoring FC Emmen and FC Groningen

Although the Century car group is active in a different ballgame, there are many similarities with Oldenburger|Fritom: our roots are in the Dutch province of Groningen and we have been closely intertwined with the Northern Netherlands for decades. Sobriety and a no-nonsense approach are characteristic of both our companies.

Moreover, we are almost neighbors in Veendam. An important reason why we entered into a partnership with Century in 2005. There was an immediate click with Erik Meems, director and owner of Century. Among other things, in the field of corporate social responsibility and our involvement in regional society. Just like Oldenburger|Fritom, Century is a business partner of the professional football clubs FC Emmen and FC Groningen.

That is why we have decided to co-sponsor the matches between both clubs. To give visible expression to this, we had a special side-skirt made for one of our trailers. As of today, this truck combination will drive through the Dutch provinces of Groningen and Drenthe to put these two matches in the spotlight:
