The consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic are still noticeable at the end of 2021. Not least for children growing up in poverty. In line with our sustainability policy, we therefore donate part of our Christmas budget on foundations that are committed to these children:

• Jarige Job foundation
• Leergeld foundation

We donate an amount of 2500 euros to each of these two foundations. We donate the same amount to the food bank Veendam and the region. The number of people relying on food banks has risen sharply due to the coronavirus crisis.

Finally, the total Christmas budget of Oldenburger|Fritom amounts to 10,000 euros this year. We donate the remaining amount of 2500 euros to the amateur football club DZOH in Emmen. As their main sponsor, we are happy to contribute to their well-organized youth policy plan. The aim of this plan is to stimulate a fit and vital lifestyle among children and young people.
