We are proud of the awards we have received. Including the Graydon Financially Healthy Award and the FD Gazellen Award. We’re also very proud of the fact that we received the TLN Award twice and that we received the Deloitte Best Managed Company Award. In addition, we were chosen as training company of the year by VTL. Because of our focus on sustainability combined with the Lean Six Sigma method we also were able to add the Lean and Green Star to our list of prestigious awards.
October 2014 saw Oldenburger|Fritom receiving the Graydon Financially Healthy Award. This award is a financial quality certification mark based on sales figures, annual figures and payment behavior. Just 3 percent of companies in The Netherlands meet these strict criteria, set by Graydon and is thus allowed to call itself financially healthy. This award guarantees the stakeholders of Oldenburger|Fritom that continuity is guaranteed, and that they do business with us in a responsible manner.
In four consecutive years - 2008 till 2011 - Oldenburger|Fritom was awarded with the FD Gazellen Award. Each year a Dutch financial newspaper rewards the fastest growing companies in The Netherlands. Furthermore, to qualify for this award a company needs to be financially healthy. Oldenburger|Fritom showed a steep growing curve for a period of over 7 years.
Oldenburger|Fritom was the fastest growing logistic service provider in the northern part of the Netherlands. Constantly focusing on improving and optimizing our organization, led us to winning the TLN Award after a thorough screening by Transport & Logistics the Netherlands organization for road transport companies and logistic service providers. The award is a recognition for the fact that we continuously meet our customers wishes and requirements - which was the awards’ theme for 2010.
In 2014 Oldenburger|Fritom was awarded the TLN Award for the second time. This year the theme was innovation. The award recognized the fact we were constantly striving for quality and professionalization of our organization despite the crisis. Or like the jury put it: “Process improvement and optimization is constantly being worked on. We saw a winning mentality seeping through the entire company. Responsibilities are given to each level within the organization. Giving the employees the room to develop entrepreneurship."
In 2010 Oldenburger|Fritom received the Deloitte Best Managed Company Award. To be eligible for this award, external experts first perform an extensive business analysis. This analysis looks at the management capabilities of the company in question. The overall business performance and growth are also considered. The professional jury presented the award to Oldenburger|Fritom because we excel in areas such as sustainability and adaptability.
Chosen from over 6000 companies, Oldenburger|Fritom was selected as best training company. A professional jury looked at the support of students, the training policy and what makes them stand out from other companies. The jury: “It deserves respect when in difficult economic times you are still able to keep an eye out for the future of youngsters, provide youngsters the possibility to follow an internship, mentor them and still hire young talent.”
The Lean and Green Star Award Oldenburger|Fritom received is the result of our CSR policy and the reduction of CO2 emissions by 20 percent over a period of 5 years. This result was achieved by increasing the amount of stops and improving the utilization of our trucks. Also taken into account were the use of Euro 6-engines, stimulating intermodal transportation and increasing fuel efficiency by better educating our drivers. Oldenburger|Fritom continues to look at possibilities to reduce CO2 emissions even further.
