Our colleague Jarno ten Caat recently obtained the post-bachelor certificate in Controlling at the Nyenrode Business University. Jarno works as a Report & Control employee in our Report & Control department.
Seven employees of Oldenburger|Fritom obtained the Effective Leadership certificate this week. The training was provided by Hans Swinkels. Hans is a trainer, coach and partner of the HDLG Group training center.
As many as eight of our colleagues have obtained their Black Black certificate last week. Black Belt is the second highest level of the Lean Six Sigma certification.
Our colleague Pieter de Jong has obtained the Master Black Belt theory certificate. Master Black Belt (MBB) is the highest level of the Lean Six Sigma method, which is the common theme throughout the business operations of Oldenburger|Fritom.
Last Friday, Drenthe College in the Dutch city of Emmen provided the backdrop for TechWorks 2025: an inspiring event where primary school pupils in the age of 10 to 12 are introduced to technology and innovation. There were approximately 30 companies present, including Oldenburger|Fritom.
A notable milestone for Oldenburger|Fritom: on Thursday, April 3, 2025, the official opening of our new and second BREEAM Outstanding distribution center took place in Veendam. Here we treated our guests to an afternoon with an exciting program.
