Within Oldenburger|Fritom's Lean Six Sigma organization, all employees receive training in this improvement method. For example, at the beginning of this year, all our warehouse colleagues obtained the Lean Six Sigma White Belt certificate. Our warehouse shift leaders then continued with our internal Yellow Belt training.
On November 12th, an Open Day was held at the Noorderpoort Mobility, Transport & Logistics educational institution in the Dutch city of Groningen. Oldenburger|Fritom was once again represented. Our colleagues Marienus van der Laan and Mats Dale look back on a very successful afternoon and evening.
This afternoon the Fritom Group's Top 40 meeting took place at the Oldenburger|Fritom headquarters in Veendam, the Netherlands. The Fritom Top 40 meetings take place twice a year and are intended to inform colleagues within the group about current affairs.
Today, the Fritom Group certificate holders visited Oldenburger|Fritom in the Dutch city of Veendam. Part of the program was a tour of our new and second BREEAM Outstanding distribution center, which was built to the highest sustainability standards.
The final BREEAM scores for our new distribution center and the upgrade of our existing warehouse and headquarters were recently announced. Oldenburger|Fritom is proud to announce that these buildings in Veendam have also achieved an exceptionally high BREEAM Outstanding score.
Today, our colleague Erik Mekkes is celebrating his 20-year work anniversary at Oldenburger|Fritom. Over the past decades, Erik has shaped the strategy of our business unit Warehousing, VAS & E-Fulfilment.
