"Flexibility is undoubtedly one of Oldenburger|Fritom's strengths."
At Oldenburger|Fritom, we highly value sustainable employability, as our Finance Manager and management team member Henk Mooibroek also knows. Henk has been with us since 2002 and has witnessed all the changes of the past decades up close.
Henk: “When I started here in 2002, we were operating at a loss and had to downsize. After that, we focused on our core business, gradually expanding complementary activities. The focus then shifted immediately to quality management and innovation, offering smart logistic solutions.”
Power BI and AI
“Our organization then grew, and we can be proud of that. We are now a logistics service provider where customer and employee service are paramount.” Due to the changes over the past decades, Henk's work has also changed.
Henk cites automation and digitization as examples. “This has led to increased efficiency, speed, and reliability of our services. It is a continuous process that we are now implementing with Power BI and AI.”
Accurate management information
Currently, Henk focuses on our financial policy, including budgeting, reporting, and analysis. He also handles HRM and legal matters. He finds the diversity of his work challenging. "I get a lot of satisfaction from advising and providing solutions in complex cases."
Henk also finds managing accurate management information fascinating. "This allows us to make decisions and anticipate developments. Moreover, flexibility is undoubtedly one of Oldenburger|Fritom's strengths. We can adapt quickly when market conditions require it."
Black Belt
Henk believes the Lean Six Sigma method is a valuable asset for Oldenburger|Fritom and obtained his Black Belt certificate in early 2024. "Everyone in our organization follows a Lean Six Sigma training. This ensures that colleagues communicate better with each other and can help each other optimize and innovate processes."
