Jordi Stel

At Oldenburger|Fritom, we focus on continuous learning. Our colleague Jordi Stel, for example, started in 2010 as a Logistic Support employee for our transport solutions. Since 2021, he has been working as Supervisor Warehouse within our Warehousing, VAS & E-Fulfilment business unit.

Jordi: “Although warehousing was very different from what I had done up until then, it immediately appealed to me. In this role, I broaden and deepen my knowledge, not only of warehousing but also of other links in the logistics chain.” Jordi reports to our Operations Director and is responsible for the operational processes in our warehouses.

“Together with the shift leaders, I discuss the capacity planning to ensure the optimal deployment of our colleagues. I also provide the warehousing KPIs and contribute to the development of the best approach for new projects.” Jordi continuously enforces Oldenburger|Fritom's team rules in the workplace.

Improvement projects
No two days are the same, and Jordi finds that a great challenge. "For me, that is what makes working at Oldenburger|Fritom so enjoyable. Getting the job done for our valued customers together with my colleagues." In May 2025, Jordi obtained the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certificate.

"Because all warehouse employees have been White Belt certified since the beginning of 2025, they resolve minor issues themselves instead of just flagging them. This gives me, as a Black Belt, more time for improvement projects."
