Oldenburger|Fritom was on the eve of its transformation from a transport company to a logistics service provider when Michel joined us as a warehouse employee in 2000. Since then, he has continuously developed his skills and is now a shift leader in our warehouse in the Dutch city of Veendam.
Michel is happy and proud that he was asked for this position in 2010. Michel: "For me, it was a sign of appreciation for the dedication I had made up to that point. I was and still am very driven to live up to the trust placed in me."
As a shift leader within our Warehousing, VAS & E-Fulfilment business unit, Michel leads our warehouse colleagues in e-fulfilment and high-tech logistics operations. He pays special attention to creating a safe working environment. "This allows us to perform our work as effectively as possible, which ensures that orders are delivered correctly and on time."
Lean Six Sigma
Just like his colleagues in our warehouse, Michel also obtained his Lean Six Sigma White Belt certificate in early 2025. "Together, we explore where we can eliminate waste from our processes. This way, we work together to achieve optimal customer satisfaction."
