Internship transport planning at Oldenburger|Fritom

The efficient solving of logistics puzzles. That is what the employees of our Business Unit Transport specialize in. Konrad Piadlo, a student at Noorderpoort College, recently started his internship with us as a transport planner.

Our transport planners select the best route for a wide variety of shipments by road. While doing so, they communicate frequently with our extensive network of transportation partners. They also stay in close contact with our truck drivers and other departments. In addition, there is of course the feedback to our customers. In short, the transport planner plays a pivotal role.

This is something that appeals to Konrad Piadlo, fourth-year student at Noorderpoort College in the Dutch city of Groningen. He is following the Transport and Logistics Manager course and has recently started his internship with us as a transport planner. Konrad receives guidance from our supervisor planning René Bos, who teaches him the tricks of the trade.
