As a reputable supplier of orthopedic aids, OIM Orthopedie stands for quality and customization. To reliably continue and expand its in-house courier service, OIM entered into a partnership with Oldenburger|Fritom in early 2025. "Oldenburger|Fritom is very flexible and provides high-quality service," says OIM’s Purchasing & Logistics Manager, Martijn van Dijk.

OIM Orthopedie was founded in 1981 in the Dutch province of Groningen and has been part of the AM Healthcare Group since 2024. With more than twenty locations throughout the Netherlands, OIM is a major player nationwide. Van Dijk: "We manufacture and supply prostheses, orthoses, and compression aids, among other things. We also work closely with hospitals and rehabilitation centers and are actively involved in various research projects in prosthetics and orthotics."

OIM is a “SEMH-approved” supplier. SEMH is an independent and impartial institute that develops, maintains, monitors, and improves the quality of medical devices in the Netherlands. “Our employees also meet the requirements of the Dutch Quality Register for Orthopedic Technologists, working in multidisciplinary teams. Furthermore, customer satisfaction is measured after delivery, because the client is at the core of our organization.”

In early 2025, OIM and Oldenburger|Fritom entered into a partnership. Oldenburger|Fritom offers customized healthcare logistics services and is ISO 13485 certified for medical devices. We manage various links in diverse medical logistics chains worldwide. For OIM, we focus on express logistics with a 24-hour service throughout the Netherlands. Every evening and night, we handle multiple shipments to and from various OIM locations.
