Oldenburger|Fritom offers the best logistic solutions for your sea freight shipments. Whether it is the import or export of LCL or FCL shipments. When it comes to cross trades you can rely on our expertise as well. The same goes for the preparation of customs documentation and our own bonded warehouse.

Furthermore, to guarantee maximum security, we conduct gas measurements. If necessary, we degas the containers ourselves by ventilating them sustainably, both at our location in Veendam and on-site.

If you want to ship a container at a competitive price, Oldenburger|Fritom is the place to go to. We take care of both import and export LCL (Less than Container Load) and FCL shipments (Full Container Load). You choose LCL shipments when you need the transportation of a not fully loaded container from Rotterdam or another port.

Are you in need of a full 20 ft or 40 ft container or 40 ft high cube? We take care of this as well. In addition, we take care of so-called cross trades in case you have a shipment of which the transportation route doesn’t go via the Netherlands.

To ensure employee safety – and to comply with all customs requirements – a sea freight forwarder is required to inspect incoming containers for dangers of intoxication, suffocation, fire, and poisoning. That is why Oldenburger|Fritom conducts a gas measurement. It determines whether or not toxic gasses are (still) present in a sea container. Oldenburger|Fritom is authorized to degas the containers itself, if the gas measurement indicates this. For this purpose we employ a team of certified cargo surveyors.

In line with our safety management policy, we degas using an innovative process called sustainable ventilation. Unlike traditional degassing processes, sustainable ventilation is environmentally friendly, with minimal impact on people and the environment. In addition to the safety of our employees, this form of degassing also prevents possible problems caused by pests or insects.
