A successful ‘Battle of the Champions’

On Friday 24 June, the time had come; the 'Battle of the Champions' between DZOH and FC Emmen. More than 1600 spectators enjoyed a fascinating derby at ‘Sports park Zwanenveld’.

Because Oldenburger|Fritom has a warm heart for both clubs, we were the proud match sponsor of this derby. As such, we took care of the communication, PR and marketing of the competition, including the program booklet. In addition, we have found former top referee Reinold Wiedemeijer willing to whistle the match.

Together with the organization and the board of DZOH, we look back on a very successful derby evening. DZOH 1 showed a great commitment and partly because of that managed to keep the zero for a long time. Until the 51st minute, in which FC Emmen player Remi van Ekeris scored the only goal of the evening.
