Partnership Special Heroes and Oldenburger|Fritom

Corporate social responsibility is anchored in the corporate culture of Oldenburger|Fritom. We demonstrate our commitment by collaborating with various social initiatives. For example, we have recently entered into a partnership with the Special Heroes foundation.

Mission of Special Heroes

The mission of this foundation is to promote a healthy and active lifestyle for people with disabilities. To this end, the foundation offers a varied selection of activities in the field of:

• sports and exercise
• art and culture
• work and work participation
• nutrition and health

Oldenburger|Fritom asked Oscar Elsinga, Project Manager Events at Special Heroes, where we can offer support as a logistics service provider. The foundation is happy to rely on our transportation solutions. That is why we make our company bus available – including a fuel card – to Vita, the mascot of Special Heroes.

Vita on Tour

At the end of April, Vita will drive our company bus throughout the Netherlands during “Vita on Tour”. Vita will visit various schools for special education. Pupils of these schools will have an unforgettable day through an “experience” aimed at a healthy and active lifestyle. These activities are in line with the programs Sport Heroes, Art Heroes and Healthy Heroes.
