Albert Medendorp new Operations Director of TGN|Fritom

After 20 years at Oldenburger|Fritom, our colleague Albert Medendorp has continued his career at another subsidiary of the Fritom Group. On January 1st, Albert started as Operations Director at TGN|Fritom. In this role, he focuses on the warehousing and transport operations of our sister company in the Dutch city of Zwolle.

Albert's career move marks the end of a remarkable era. Together with our CEO, René Dale, and Operations Director, Erik Mekkes, Albert was at the forefront of Oldenburger|Fritom's transformation into an innovative logistics service provider 20 years ago.

Albert focused primarily on establishing and continuously optimizing our Freight Forwarding Business Unit. We are very grateful to him for his efforts related to our air freight and sea freight solutions, among other things.

In addition to establishing our Schiphol Airport branch, Albert has also dedicated himself to:

• our AEO-status (AEO-C and AEO-S)
• our IATA membership
• our Regulated Agent status

LSS Black Belt
As a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Albert has also led various projects. The most recent example is the new construction of our second BREEAM Outstanding distribution center in the Dutch city of Veendam and the Outstanding upgrade of our existing warehouse. Last year, he also focused on the sustainable renovation of our headquarters.
