Colleagues obtain Transport of Dangerous Goods certificate

Last week, seven colleagues of Oldenburger|Fritom successfully completed the Transport of Dangerous Goods training course. The training was provided by DGM Netherlands.

Employees involved in the logistics chain of hazardous goods are required to undergo training in this area. During this training, they will gain knowledge of the regulations in general and specific products in particular.

In addition, the following topics are also included in the training:

• (International) liability laws and regulations
• Safety obligations of those involved
• Classification and identification
• Hazard classification
• Safety Data Sheets (SDSs)
• Documents

The training also covered preparing goods for shipment with VAS:

• Packaging and packaging requirements
• Marking and labeling
• Loading
