Recertification according to ISO 13053-1 Six Sigma

In early February, Oldenburger|Fritom was recertified according to ISO 13053-1 Six Sigma. This certification allows our Master Black Belts to provide internal LSS Belt training sessions, from White Belt to Green Belt.

As a logistics knowledge organization, we continuously focus on improving, optimizing, and innovating our services. Therefore, we have combined the quality methods Lean and Six Sigma in our business operations. With Lean Six Sigma as a foundation, we initiate improvement projects that focus on adding value to our customers. To involve all our employees in this process and foster ownership, they all take LSS Belt training.

Internal training sessions
With the ISO 13053-1 certification, our Master Black Belts are authorized to provide internal Belt training sessions, from White Belt to Green Belt. ISO 13053-1 imposes strict requirements on these Six Sigma training sessions, contributing to global recognition and standardization.

The DMAIC framework is central to the ISO 13053-1 Six Sigma standard. DMAIC stands for:

• Improve
• Control

The application of the DMAIC cycle ensures structured and data-driven processes in our knowledge organization. ISO 13053-1 provides best practices, including the roles, knowledge, and training of employees involved in improvement projects.
