Successful Oldenburger|Fritom Youth Tournament at DZOH

Amateur football club DZOH in the Dutch city of Emmen looks back on a very successful Oldenburger|Fritom Youth Tournament. On Saturday 21 June, no fewer than 460 players in the categories JO-8 to JO-11 braved the heat and experienced a fantastic event.

"Despite the high temperatures, there was a lot of enthusiasm", says the tournament committee with satisfaction. "Not only from the players but also from the audience.” A total of 46 teams from the Dutch provinces of Drenthe and Overijssel came to DZOH’s sports park called "Zwanenveld”.

Sportsmanship and having fun
As part of their youth policy plan, DZOH wants to motivate young people to exercise with the annual tournament. Sportsmanship and having fun are therefore central. Because this fits in seamlessly with the CSR policy of Oldenburger|Fritom, we are not only the main sponsor of DZOH, but also the namesake and sponsor of the youth tournament.
