Oldenburger|Fritom has been a real family business since 1917. A family business that is characterized, among other things, by a unique dynamic, mutual trust and mutual loyalty. For example, our colleague Michel Tol recently asked us if his daughter Sylvie could do an internship with us.
Sylvie attends the CS Vincent van Gogh school for pre-vocational secondary education in the Dutch city of Assen. In response to Michel's question, she is now doing an internship with us in Veendam for two and a half weeks. One of Sylvie's internship goals is to gain a better picture of day-to-day professional practice. To this end, she will perform as many tasks as possible within our organization. Another goal of the internship is to acquire important social skills in a dynamic working environment.
Shift leader warehouse
Sylvie's father Michel has been employed by Oldenburger|Fritom for almost 24 years. He works for us as a shift leader warehouse in Veendam. In this role he actively participates in our warehouse processes and gives instructions to our logistics employees. He also ensures the capacity planning and sets priorities in consultation with his fellow shift leaders.
We wish Sylvie lots of fun and success during her internship!
