Geert Oldenburger celebrates his 20th work anniversary at Oldenburger|Fritom. Geert is a great-grandchild of our founder Jan Oldenburger and the son of Willy Oldenburger, who together with two of his brothers formed the Oldenburger Brothers (Gebroeders Oldenburger) between 1968 and 1999.

Schools will start again in the northern part of the Netherlands next week. In the coming academic year, Oldenburger|Fritom will once again be cooperating with various regional educational institutions. Why? To maintain and further develop logistics knowledge and expertise in the north. Together we focus on continuous learning.

Our colleague Marienus van der Laan has obtained his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certificate. In line with our continuous learning strategy, Marienus has focused on the Black Belt certification after obtaining his Green Belt at the beginning of this year.

Our colleague Jan Willem Stormbroek is celebrating a special milestone today: his 30-year work anniversary at Oldenburger|Fritom. In 1992 Jan Willem started working as a truck driver at the Oldenburger Brothers (Gebroeders Oldenburger).

A special anniversary: on July 6, Rita Oldenburger has worked for 35 years at Oldenburger|Fritom. Rita is the great-granddaughter of Jan Oldenburger, who founded our family-owned company in 1917.
