Today our colleague Gerard Melessen celebrates his 15-year work anniversary at Oldenburger|Fritom. Gerard works within our Business Unit Warehousing, VAS & E-Fulfillment. Here he fulfills the role of Shift Leader Warehouse.

Last week, five employees of Oldenburger|Fritom obtained the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certificate. Bert-Jan Oosterhoff, Arjan Brouwer, Pieter-Jan van der Laan, Milko Dale and Arnoud Hofstra may now initiate major improvement processes, among others.

Earlier this year, we signed the construction contract for a second distribution center according to the highest achievable BREEAM level: 5-star BREEAM Outstanding. On Friday, May 31, an update meeting took place in Veendam.
