Last week our colleagues, Planning Supervisor René Bos and Warehouse Supervisor Jordi Stel, successfully completed the exam 'Safety advisor for transporting dangerous goods’.

Last weekend the 9th edition of the KardingeRun took place in the Dutch city of Groningen: the biggest obstacle run in the Northern Netherlands! Team Oldenburger|Fritom participated in the Business Run.

Unfortunately, Oldenburger|Fritom is not one of the three finalists of the Groningen Enterprise Award 2023. Last night, after a special event that revolved around the presentations of the ten nominees, the jury announced the names of the three finalists: Wovar, OnlineVeilingmeester.nl and EasyToys.

Our colleagues Albert Medendorp and Pieter de Jong have obtained their Green Belt certificate. Albert is our Freight Forwarding Manager and is ultimately responsible for our Business Unit Freight Forwarding. Pieter has been our Continuous Improvement Manager since September 1st. Both are members of our management team.

Oldenburger|Fritom is pleased to announce that Pieter de Jong will join our company as of September 1st in the position of Continuous Improvement Manager.

Top Dutch Solar Racing is once again taking part in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge this year. This week we shipped their self-built solar car Green Thunder to Australia by air freight.
