"To me Oldenburger|Fritom is an employer to be proud of."
A vital link in the sustainable partnership with our customers: a Single Point of Contact (SPOC). As the first point of contact, our SPOCs translate customer needs into Oldenburger|Fritom's logistic solutions. One of our SPOCs is Rianne Timmer.
Rianne has worked in the Logistics Support department of our Warehousing, VAS & E-Fulfilment business unit since 2008. Here, she is the first point of contact for customers active in the high-tech sector. Rianne is fully aware of the customer questions that arise in the high-tech sector and translates these into warehousing instructions.
Rianne: "Our customers in the high-tech sector regularly commission us for value-added services, such as kitting and customized labeling. To ensure these services are implemented correctly, I consult with my colleagues in operations. Then I double-check the final result." Her duties also include order processing, preparing 8D reports, and updating relevant KPIs.
Going the extra mile
Throughout the day, Rianne frequently contacts our customers via email, phone, or Teams. Regarding her work related to transportation, Rianne says: "After I have registered the shipments with the carriers, I prepare the documentation for the drivers."
For some customers, Rianne also handles the documentation because she always goes the extra mile. "Even when customers ask me to calculate whether the number of planned shipments will fit in a single trailer, I'm happy to provide advice and support."
A solid employer
About her employer Oldenburger|Fritom Rianne states: “A solid employer who takes care of its employees on several levels like wellbeing and training. This is why there is such a great vibe at this company. Together we put our shoulders to the wheel, helping each other where and when needed. To me Oldenburger|Fritom is an employer to be proud of.”
